Our History
Kalkaska Area Interfaith Resources was established as a 501c3 Non-profit organization in 1995 by local churches with a vision of offering financial assistance throughout Kalkaska County to individuals and families who are under-served.
Since KAIRs beginning thousands of dollars have been distributed annually through the generosity of local partners, churches, generosity of individuals and grants.
KAIR is also supported through Resale Store sales, Kampout For KAIR, the annual Festival of Trees Fundraiser, as well as various other food drives throughout the year.
The number of individuals and families served by KAIR has increased every year since KAIR has opened its doors.
